Our Story
Hi there! I’m Daniel Severns. One Sunday morning, while listening to a guest pastor speak at church about his journey through the Vanuatu bush to deliver the message of Christ to tribes who had never heard of Jesus, I was moved in a way I didn’t expect.
In that moment, I realized that while I may not have to cross 12 rivers and trek many miles, I can share the Gospel boldly in my own world — the neighborhoods, coffee shops, and workplaces of everyday life. I wanted a simple, visible way to encourage myself and others to do the same in our modern culture. That’s how Barecross was born.
